Reliability in Motion | Purpose in Flight
When the Government of India and the Cheetah Conservation Fund undertook the historic project to reintroduce cheetahs to India after more than seventy years of extinction, Aquiline International was selected to carry out the transport — a responsibility that demanded absolute precision, trust, and reliability.
In collaboration with the Namibian government, the Cheetah Conservation Fund led by Dr. Laurie Marker, and members of The Explorers Club including Hamish Harding, Aquiline operated the long-range flight that safely carried twelve cheetahs from Namibia to India. The animals, a symbolic gift from Namibia, represented hope for a renewed ecosystem and a global commitment to conservation.
Executing such a mission required detailed coordination between veterinary teams, wildlife specialists, and multiple civil aviation authorities.Aquiline’s crews managed temperature-controlled environments, minimized noise and stress levels, and maintained steady conditions across the intercontinental route — a clear demonstration of the company’s capability to perform under complex, high-profile circumstances.
This flight was more than a transport operation; it was a collaboration of science, exploration, and aviation. The cheetahs now forming a growing population in India stand as living proof of what can be achieved when reliability meets purpose — and of Aquiline International’s role as a trusted partner in missions that move not only people and cargo, but the future itself.
